You!!!! Pesky! Adamant! Stubborn!! And oh, so consistent.
Like the walls of Jericho, even the strongest walls come crumbling down if you circle it enough
A hundred thousand times I said no, a hundred thousand and one times you tried harder!!
“Knock and the door shall open unto you,” You Sir ? You tore my door right off its hinges.
Gentle like a dove, foxy with your words, patient with your actions, brick by brick, you dismantled my defences
And Love was there, handing you bombs and explosives to catastrophize my steady defences
Love copied a key to my heart and sold it to you, I was supposed to be standing on business, but I was turning into a big mess
Love took me down a straight path. It was called TRUST. Usually, I’d take a crooked path called FEAR
Love kicked me too hard, and I had no choice but to fall into your already open arms and heave a sigh of relief.
