I think it’s safe to say that I have two of the best writers in the world on my team. I’m not saying anything much today, just enjoy reading another love story in the words of another beautiful writer. ♥️
Who would have thought that I, the chairlady of the Association of Single People in the South-South region, would be “oohing,” “aahing,” “awwing,” and “God-whening” over this beautiful couple’s love story? They brought a classic friends-to-lovers trope to life. So, love is sweet like this? And you people allowed me to crown myself chairlady!😔
Of course, the question has to be asked: “How did you meet your partner?” This love story was conceived in the womb of a Twitter DM. Mr. Ade-Ola, frazzled by the hassle of getting a ride for the morning session of Reboot Camp 2022 (December camp convention of Celebration Church International), took to the Twitter space to express his frustration 😪. Mrs. Christabelle, swift with her replies, teased him about how he’d come late and sit outside 😂. Later, he asked for a meet-up, and they met.
So, we’re meeting loves in DMs now?😭… Take notes and take action, guys! 😉😁
There’s something about the unexpectedness of the friends-to-lovers trope that makes us, the readers (who already know how it goes 😉), excited to see how it actually turns out—from the neutral “hellos” to the passionate “I love yous.” Stay with me, guys! Stay with me! 😊

You see this their proposal? Ewoo! E sweet die! The proposal was on Mr. Ade-Ola’s birthday, and with the help of wonderful friends, a fairy-tale, Disney romance-type proposal came to life. Mr. Ade-Ola said he “won’t confirm or deny that he cried,” but wink 😉.
So much beauty in this love story, I tell you!
And they tied the knot on the day of their 21st dating anniversary. Somebody say love! 🥹
