ROMANCE, LOVE, AND LONG DISTANCE!
Before your beautiful eyes read further, I would like to point out that I now have two beautiful writers working for me🤭🤭. One of whose writing you’re about to get into. To my lovely constant readers, I apologise for not posting last week. I needed a very short break cause I was overwhelmed with work but hey! now I’m not doing it alone. I trust you’ll enjoy this writeup. Love you😘😘❤️❤️
DEAREST GENTLE READER (OR NOT SO GENTLE, EYES SUSPICIOUSLY).
This writer is here to bring you the tea or may I say coffee, as I am not Lady Whistledown, what I serve is better than tea, and by coffee, I mean a caramel macchiato with a sweet heart on top because this LOVE STORY is about to leave a sweet flavor in your heart.
Today on LOVE MATTERS, we take a dive into the love story of IKECHUKWU and CHISOM.
These two met online, and the first day they chatted, they texted like they had known each other for years (so if they ask you how you’re doing, say only “fine.” Okay? Don’t keep the conversation going with who could be your potential partner 😭speaking for myself as a single person and for you other singletons).
Anyway, they took about a year to get together (argh, but it was so worth it for them 🥹, you’ll know just by the pictures how lovingly they look at each other, the chemistry being so calm yet evident). Where they look at each other on the stair case and where ikechukwu kisses Chisom’s hand while she stares at him with warmth in her eyes only shows the height of the love they have for each other.
They fell for each other at the same time, which is so beautiful because imagine the reciprocation, just knowing the person your heart desires wants you just as much. They were willing to move further, but there was only one problem; LONG DISTANCE. You know long distances can be hard to work through, but these two knew what they wanted; each other and decided to make it all work. Ikechukwu found his sweet-souled, amazing woman and couldn’t let her go 😩 (I should let go of my witchy behavior at this point. From now on, I’m going to be sweet-souled, time to Chisom up!).
(Imagine if they were beating around the bush and not willing to take the risk. Just imagine 🥹 they loved each other and were willing to put aside that barrier just to be with each other.)
At some point, Ikechukwu decided to be sweet in a sneaky way by surprising her on her birthday with his presence, and for me, the effort is just so beautiful. Someone special showing up on another day is like a double gift being handed over to you. (Men, take lessons!) The effort, the thought process, everythingggg.
Then Ikechukwu could not wait anymore, deciding to surprise her again with a proposal that felt like heaven on earth for Chisom. With a knee down, the ring in his hand, and asked the magical question, Chisom agreed to be his wife, and they’ve been together for two years now.
CHISOM, if you’re reading this, Ikechukwu left a message for you. “I love you, baby, so much.”
(Stoppppp, I’m more Single than a tree in the wilderness) 😭
But that is it on today’s coffee, a simple love story, breaking the distance barrier and following their hearts. I hope Ikechukwu’s and Chisom’s story warmed your hearts up.
