I know some of you have mentioned how tricky liking or commencing can be, and I totally get it! But the fact that you keep coming back? That every week new readers join in? Jeez. My heart is FULL.

I mean, how?! How do y’all find love in a place so full of violence and hot takes? 💀 Nigerians especially! But I guess that’s proof that love prevails, no matter the battlefield. 💕💪
Victoria saw his picture, and boom—she was hooked. 🎯 In her head, she went, “This man is fineeeee.” 😍🔥 (Relatable.) So she did what any self-respecting babe would do—she left a comment. And before you could say “Twitter match made in heaven,” DMs were sliding, and connections were clicking. ✨
LMAO, I once tried to subtly flirt in a guy’s comment section, and let’s just say… we’re currently on veeeerrrryyyy different life paths. 🤡 (And by that, I mean, I am as single as a one-man band. But we move. 😭)
Back to Victoria and Matthew—it took just two weeks before he locked it down. TWO WEEKS. ⏳ He saw her, spoke to her, realized she was smart, easy to talk to, and effortlessly amazing, and said, “Yeah, I need this woman in my life.” But wait—he wasn’t one of those overly direct guys. Oh no, he took his time, played it cool. 😎 But the fear of rejection was still in the air, so she met him halfway. (Cuz, you know, sometimes men need a lil’ push. 😏) And just like that, lovers were made. ❤️
Now, let’s be real—relationships aren’t all roses and rainbows. 🌹⛈️ They had their little disagreements, and with Victoria just rounding up university, things got a bit tough. That transition into real life? It’s no joke. 😮💨 But the best part? He was her rock. No matter what, she could count on him. And THAT, my loves, is the kind of partnership that stands the test of time. 💑
Oh, and about who fell first? Yeah, it was definitely him. He confessed first, so it’s confirmed. And honestly? I respect it. If you’ve been here long enough, you know I love a man who doesn’t dilly-dally and just goes for what he wants. 💯
The proposal? So them. Private, sweet, and full of love. 🥰 A surprise, but come on—women always have a sixth sense about these things. She knew something was up, especially since she had just gotten her hair done and, in her words, looked like a little bridesmaid. 💁🏽♀️💅 (A whole vision, I’m sure!)
This year makes five years together 🎉 and in just a few days, it’ll be two months of marriage. 👰🏽♀️🤵🏽 Maybe I should’ve waited to post this then but… meh. The love is fresh enough!
