There are things I say when I’m just being nice.
And then… there are things I say when I’m flirting but hiding behind vibes and sarcasm. Here’s a little secret: If I’ve ever said any of these to you…
Yeah. I probably liked you. Just a little. Maybe a lot. Who knows?
1. “You’re so annoying.”
– Translation: I’ve thought about kissing you. But instead, I’ll attack your character like a 10-year-old on the playground.
2. “Who are you smiling for?”
– Translation: Smile for me. Let’s not do this back and forth.
3.“I’m not texting you again.”
– Translation: I’ll probably text you in 30 minutes or the next minute.
4. “I know you miss me.”
– Translation: I want you to panic at the thought of losing me. But also… why aren’t you panicking already?
5. “Must you always look good?”
– Translation: I’m spiralling and it’s your fault.
6. “I didn’t miss you… maybe just a little.”
– Translation: I missed you with my whole chest. My whole spirit. I stalked your WhatsApp last seen. (I do this a lot if i like you by the way).
7. “Why are you calling me? What do you want?”
– Translation: Thank God you called. I was about to call you and pretend it was a mistake.
8. “Look at you forming fine boy.”
– Translation: You are hot and I need you to calm down. Immediately.
9. “You think you’re smart, ehn?”
– Translation: I love that you’re clever and annoying. Be mine.
10. “I’ll allow you.”
– Translation: You now have full access to my heart. Don’t misuse it.
11. “You have issues.”
– Translation: I adore every broken, sarcastic, soft part of you and it’s starting to scare me. Or you’re just annoyingly cute.
12. “Ehn, I’m not thinking about you o.”
– Translation: I haven’t stopped thinking about you since yesterday. And I hate how soft I’ve become.
13. “I just said let me greet you small.”
– Translation: I missed you and this is me crawling back with pretend pride.
14. “I didn’t even miss you like that.”
– Translation: I missed you like oxygen. But I’m trying to keep my dignity.
15. “Go away jor.”
– Translation: But stay nearby. But go. But also stay. But come here.
16. “Look at this one doing small fine boy.”
– Translation: You’re melting my insides and I’m hiding it behind shade.
17, “I’ll just ignore you.”
– Translation: I will obsessively check your story views and overthink your last reply. Don’t test me.
18. “God, why am I even smiling?”
– Translation: You’ve entered my system and I need deliverance.
19. “See your head.”
– Translation: You’re so cute, it’s actually offensive.
20. “I’m not thinking about you.”
– Translation: I’ve already written poetry in your name and mentally changed my surname. (The amount of times i’ve done this is quite embarrassing).
Anyway, that’s it for now. I’m not flirting. I’m just casually losing control of my emotions in your presence while speaking in sarcasm and soft tones.
